Old Steam and Gas Club’s Antique Tractor Show

ZANESVILLE OH – The Old Steam and Gas Club is inviting the public to come take a trip down memory lane this weekend.
The Club is hosting their annual Antique Tractor show this weekend at the Colony Square Mall.
Brad McCune, the President of the Old Steam and Gas Club, said there are over 40 different kinds of tractors for people to check out.
He also said that many people when they come to this show will talk about memories from way back when.
“A lot of times, there’s people who come through and have memories of their grandfather, father, and what not with these eras of tractors.” McCune said. “So there’s a lot here to look at.”
McCune said in addition to the tractors that are on display, they also have a room filled with photos and albums from the Club’s older shows.
He said he hopes anyone who attends the tractor show this weekend walks away with a greater appreciation for the older machinery.
“To the young people, I hope they gain an appreciation to start with.” McCune said. “You know, many of the younger folks today were not around this era of equipment but that’s what helped agriculture to get where it is today.”
The Antique Tractor show will run until Sunday when the Mall closes at 6PM.
