Mother’s Day BBQ at Washington Township Fire Department

ZANESVILLE, OH – This Mother’s Day, treat mom to something special and support a great cause at the same time.

The Washington Township Fire Department is hosting their annual Mother’s Day BBQ this Sunday, May 12th. Each meal is priced at $10 and includes chicken, coleslaw, a roll, potato chips, and a dessert. The event kicks off at 11 AM and will continue until all meals are sold out.

“Our favorite part of the Mother’s Day Chicken BBQ is seeing the people come out to support us and the smile on their faces knowing we’ve done the cooking, we’ll do the dishes, and they can enjoy their day with mom,” Washington Township Fire Department President Josh Snouffer said.

This annual BBQ is the perfect opportunity to show appreciation not only for mothers but also for the dedicated firefighters who serve our community. All the money raised will support the fire department and help fund new equipment.

“Proceeds will benefit our fire department. We strive to continually upgrade our equipment and the training that our fire fighters have. We always have the edge on getting new stuff for them to help them in this environment that we have,” Snouffer said.

The Mother’s Day BBQ will take place at the Washington Township Fire Department located at 2310 Adamsville Road in Zanesville. It is drive-through only.
