Coshocton County-  The Coshocton County Emergency Management Agency said storm damage in the county this week was caused by a tornado.

The National Weather Service said the survey began near the Coshocton-Muskingum County line and extended to the area between Conesville and State Route 83 South.

The NWS determined the short-lived EF 1 tornado had wind speeds of 105 miles per hour and caused damage to a home in western Coshocton County near the Muskingum County line.

They said as the storm passed through there was also damage to trees, structures and homes caused by straight line winds.

This is the sixth confirmed tornado in Coshocton County since 1950 and the first since May of 1985.
