Mayor’s Hosts Annual Luncheon

Zanesville city employees left Secrest Auditorium with full stomach’s this afternoon.

Mayor Jeff Tilton held his annual luncheon thanking them for their hard work.

"We’re feeding the employees, each year for many years, each year, they feed the employees for appreciation for what they do throughout the year and Jack Fenton started this tradition many years ago and we’ve continued it."

Usually, the luncheon is held during the summer months, but Tilton thought it would be a good idea to switch things up this year. One thing that didn’t change was the delicious food.

"Oh, we have hamburgers, cheeseburgers, brats, hotdogs, potato salad, baked beans, chips, a little bit of everything, dessert."

Tilton says he plans to keep the tradition going for years to come.
