2014 Zanesville South Holiday Parade Registration

The deadline to register your float for the annual Christmas parade in South Zanesville is coming soon.

If you want to participate in the Zanesville South Business Association’s annual parade you must submit your registration form and fee of 50 dollars by Friday at 6:00 p.m.

Shandon Gingerich is the president of the association, and she said while the registration deadline is approaching fast no one will be turned away if they register by Friday.

"There’s unlimited spots, so we’re looking for quality entrees and we will fill them up," said Gingerich. "We’ll get everyone in there."

The parade has been going on for over 30 years now and this year’s theme is Christmas Through the Eyes of a Child. Gingerich said they just want people to take the theme and run with whatever it means to them.

"We’re very happy to have anyone come in," said Gingerich. "You don’t have to be from the south end, north end, east, west, Zanesville, out of town. We want people to register, and we want quality entrees. This will be the communities largest holiday parade."

The parade will be on Sunday November 23. To register you can return your form to Gingerich at the Community Bank on Maysville Pike or mail it to PO box 1271 Zanesville, oh 43702-1721.
