Heath Goes “Back to Back”, Win Second Straight District Title

LEWIS CENTER, OH – Two years running now, the Heath Bulldogs can call themselves “district champions” on the baseball diamond.

Both titles in division three, top-seeded Heath left no doubt with a 9-0 victory over third-ranked West Jefferson over at Olentangy Orange High School.

A stellar performance on the mound from starter Wyatt Binckley, going the complete game as he allowed just one hit with five strikeouts!

A bases-clearing triple from Riley Baum blew the game open in the fifth inning and the Bulldogs never looked back en route to a shutout win over the Rough Riders.

The Bulldogs now head to Wright State, next Thursday at 5 pm for a matchup with Cincinnati Country Day.
