DIII State Track Finals

The OHSAA State Track meet is taking place at the University of Dayton.

In the girls shot put Caldwell’s Gwyn Lori put on a show. Her first attempt of the day went 41 inches six and a half centimeters. She’d move from the prelims to the finals launching 44 inches 10 centimeters to take first place at state.

In the boys discuss throw  Caldwell’s Ethan Crock finished 16th in the state with a best throw of 143-6.

Shenandoah’s Braxton Barnett found himself on the podium with a jump of 20 inches 8 centimeters. The sophomore finished 7th overall.  Barnett also qualified to run in Friday’s finals of the 110 meter hurdles.

The Zeps’  4×100 meter relayed finished 12th in preliminary race and will not compete for a medal.

Ida Estadt will compete in the girls 3200 meter run.

Rosecrans Brody Zemba finished his track season placing 12 in the 200 meter dash. He finished with a personal record of 22.73.
