Pet of the Week
The Animal Shelter in Muskingum County is featuring its pet of the week, her name is Little Girl.
She is a sweet, 4 month old spaniel mix who is all puppy and has a ton of love to give. Little Girl has already had her surgery and would make a great addition to a family with kids. Her adoption fee is $135. Muskingum County Animal Shelter executive director, Jody Murray says she’s already learning basic commands.
"I had her out playing here a little bit ago and she already has learned to sit and follow some commands and things like that. So, she would be a great family dog, good with kids, good with adults, just a great, great puppy. A good addition to somebody’s family."
If you’re looking to adopt, the shelter will be hosting an adoption event at Petsmart the 14, 15 and 16 of November where they will have cats and dogs.
"We also have on 15th from 9 until 1 we’re joining up with one of the local used car dealerships, car nation, and they’re doing an event, they’re having some hot dogs and things like that, but for every car that they sell that day, they’re gonna donate $250 back to the shelter. So we’re gonna be there and have some cats and dogs for folks to look at and hopefully we’ll see a lot of people out there."
The Animal Shelter would also like to invite the public to their holiday bizarre which will be held at the bingo hall on West Main Street starting at 9 am on November 15.
