Lively Named Artcoz Artist of the Month

ZANESVILLE, OH – Paula Lively has been named the Artcoz Artist of the Month for June.

Lively took up photography as a hobby but soon turned it into her passion.

She says after completing her schooling at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, she found she loved being able to tell stories through a single photo.

“Just through the opportunities that were laying before me,” Lively said. “And I knew that I needed more education, so I furthered my education in order to get more opportunities.”

Lively’s works will be on display at Cole’s Aircraft, located at 616 Main St, from 5 to 8PM for the First Friday Artwalk.

She says there will be pictures from a recent trip she took to Florida as well as photos from some concerts that were held here in Zanesville.

Lively hopes those who come and view her working during the Artwalk feel the spirit within the image.

“That’s what the photo’s about, a story, “Lively said. “You can feel the emotions through the photo.”
