Low Gas Prices To Rise 10 Cents A Gallon
Drivers were treated to low gas prices Monday morning.
According to the Auto Club AAA, a regular gallon of gas was averaging $2.84, which is $0.11 less than last weeks prices. Mark Lane, employee of Mother Tuckers says his customers were pleased at the low cost.
"I’ve been getting a high volume. When they come in and get it, it’s been a high volume for what they’re buying."
Toledo reported the lowest gas prices, with the average price at $2.77 a gallon. Unfortunately, gasbuddy.com says prices are going up $0.10 a gallon Monday. The response to that news was not the most positive. Darcie Chittenden told us her thoughts.
"I’m not shocked, I just, i think we’ve all kind of gotten used to it and we all need gasoline so what do you do?"
Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and with that, means more and more individuals traveling. Gas prices do fluctuate quite frequently which effects peoples travel plans during the holiday season. James Grable told us how it effects him.
"It effects it a little, but not as bad as it was, like almost $3.40 a gallon, but you know, hopefully it’ll go down sooner or later."
The recent low cost of a gallon of gas has been due to decreased demand and lower crude oil prices.
