7th Annual Holiday Bazaar
The Eastside Community Ministry got in the holiday spirit this afternoon.
Eastside Community Ministry celebrated its Seventh Annual Holiday Bazaar to help raise money for some of its different programs. Executive director Marie Katt said the fundraiser helps in many different areas but adds they couldn’t have put this together without the help of their volunteers.
"Well, we have a food pantry, and a clothing bank, and a youth program. So, wherever it’s needed, you know, this money can help with the budget for those programs. And the volunteers are the ones that set this up, we’re so lucky because I just sit back and they do all the work."
Board of Directors, Marcy White said the bazaar featured many different vendors and had a variety of goods for people of all ages to enjoy.
"We have some of the home products that have parties and different things. Lia sophia, 31 gifts, scentsy, and then we have some home crafts."
This year, there were also some clothes brought from Haiti which will help the Haitians who are making those goods.
