Fuel Spill Clean-up Investigated
The Zanesville Highway Patrol says two trucks crashed near Duncan Falls today causing a diesel spill.
Troopers say it happened just before 11:00 a.m.Tuesday when one truck heading south on State Route 60 attempted to turn right and while another truck tried to pass on the right causing a collision.
The Highway Patrol says 20 gallons of fuel spilled as a result of the accident.
The Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency was called to the scene and oversaw the clean-up of the fuel spill.
The truck drivers are identified by the patrol as Ryan Livier of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin and Robert Redman of Newark. The accident remains under investigation.
