Discover Ohio’s Artistic Talents at Zanesville’s 78th Annual Exhibition
ZANESVILLE, OH- The 78th Ohio Annual Exhibition is set to open at the Zanesville Museum of Art this weekend.
The event features 57 artists from across Ohio. They will be showcasing a diverse range of artistic mediums, such as painting, glass, welding, mixed media, sculpture and photography.
“It’s a fantastic selection of Ohio artists, Ohio is very rich in arts and cultural heritage and these artists represent a lot of different genres, there is some fantastic work here, so the judging made it very difficult,” said 78th Ohio Annual Exhibition Juror, Max Barton.
Awards and prizes will be presented in eight different categories. Best of Show will win $1,000. The exhibition promises to be vibrant celebration of Ohio’s artistic talent.
“These types of exhibitions not only showcase the wonderful talent that’s around us, but also allows us to develop programming that is used for educational purposes and that is used to enrich the community, because exhibitions like this, the arts, arts and culture, everything enriches a community and adds to its vitality,” said Barton.
