Arrests Made in High Speed Pursuit

Noble County, OH- The Noble County Sheriff’s Office released more information into a pursuit that ended with the intentional ramming a vehicle.
The sheriff’s office said the driver Ezekiel Joy, of Youngstown was charged with failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer.
He was also cited for failing to signal, failing to wear a seatbelt and driving under suspension.
Two passengers in the vehicle were also apprehended.
The Noble County prosecutor is reviewing the case for additional charges.
Officials said the pursuit began Sunday on State Route 821 in Belle Valley when a deputy attempted to pull over the vehicle for traffic violations.
The pursuit continued onto Interstate 77 reaching speeds of around 100mph.
Eventually a pit maneuver was performed and while the vehicle was still moving Joy and his passengers fled the vehicle on foot and were apprehended.
