Speculative Building Planned for Business Park

Muskingum County- Marker Development plans to break ground on a $17m 201,600 square-foot speculative building at the National Road Business Park. The commercial building will be configured for light manufacturing/warehouse space with 20 docks doors, two drive-in doors and a 32′ clear height.
The Zanesville Muskingum County Port Authority (ZMCPA)and the Ohio Department of Development worked to assist Marker in making this project a reality. A Rural Industrial Park Loan Program (RIPL) for $4M was awarded to the ZMCPA. The RIPL promotes economic development by providing low-interest direct loans to assist counties, municipalities, townships, non-profit organizations, port authorities, community improvement corporations, and private developers in financing the development and improvement of industrial parks and related off-site public infrastructure improvements in rural areas.
When completed the new speculative building will be located at 305 Prosperity Parkway in Zanesville.
