Zanesville Jaycees Host Stars and Stripes on the River
ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zanesville Jaycees ignited excitement with their annual Stars and Stripes on the River celebration at Zane Landing.
This festive event, which kicked off Wednesday, is a highlight of the summer for many locals. Throughout the day, attendees indulged in a variety of food trucks, enjoy live music and let their kids have a blast on the inflatable attractions. A special highlight this year is the generous donation of 70 bikes from the Eagles, which will be given away in raffle drawings.
“This day is all about community for us. We work hard all year around to provide this event. To provide scholarships for seniors, we’re going to do that a little bit after 5 o’clock today. We’re looking forward to that. But ultimately, just the community. Giving back to everything that we worked so hard for all year long,” Zanesville Jaycees President, Mike Walton said.
The festivities will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display at dusk, set to light up the sky rain or shine in celebration of Independence Day.
The Zanesville Jaycees are delighted to bring this annual tradition to life once again.
