Reasons to Ride Ohio hosts 4th annual bike show

ZANESVILLE, OH- Reasons to Ride Ohio hosted their 4th Annual Custom and Vintage Bike Show at Fink’s Harley Davidson this afternoon.
Reasons to Ride Ohio is a biker magazine that focuses on doing community service projects.
“The idea is there is so many different causes out there and reasons to get out there, a lot of folks are like oh I don’t need a reason to ride, well do you love it, absolutely that’s the reason, but a lot of times there’s good causes or there’s charity events or we’re riding for veterans or in support of a family who needs help or a cause that we want to promote and it kind of comes back from the old western things like, saddle up, it’s time to saddle up there’s an issue, you know there’s villains on the horizon we got to get there, bad guys in town, so you get everybody in town, you get the posse and you saddle up and it’s kind of that sense of hey these are all reasons to ride so let’s get together for whatever cause,” said Derek Smith, Reasons To Ride Magazine Publisher.
The bike show is all about coming together as a community to have a good time. The bikes were judged and voted on. Awards were given to the top bikes in each category. All makes and models are welcome at the show.
“It’s really just a celebration of the community, there’s a lot of shows where sometimes folks get really competitive and it can be this or that, but this isn’t one of those shows, it’s about coming out here, showing off what you’ve done and there’s some amazing bikes here don’t get me wrong but the folks that know our shows, it’s a friendly competition, show off what you’ve been doing, set it out here, these folks are all friends, and they may not know each other yet but they’ll be friends by the end of the day and that’s the really cool part,” said Smith.
