McHugh Donates Over $4,000 to ‘Tools For School’ Campaign

For the past 4 years, McHugh Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram donated $50 for every vehicle sold in the month of July for the “Tools For School” Campaign.

This year, McHugh donated $4,050 to “Tools For School”.

Tim McHugh, Co-Owner at McHugh Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram said that it’s a great way for them to give back to the community.

“We started doing this four years ago,” said McHugh. “Its something that I’ve just been involved in for every single year after that, I think its one of the best projects that our company is involved with throughout the year.”

Jamie Trout, Executive Director at Eastside Community Ministry said that schools don’t have enough funding to provide a lot of the essential school items for kids so that’s where they come in to help.

“Families just cannot afford to supply all those needs for their children,” said Trout. “It just sets the child back if they start school without the supplies that they need so it helps us prepare them to be prepared for schools so they can be successful.”

Trout said that they wouldn’t be successful if it wasn’t for their community partners and she said that McHugh is a huge part of keeping the program going.
