Schubach Big Band’s Annual Concert this Weekend
ZANESVILLE, OH – The Schubach Big Band is gearing up for their annual concert at Zane’s Landing Park.
The Band will perform this Sunday, August 4th at 7PM.
David Schubach, the Band Leader, says this concert is something they look forward to putting on for the community every year. He also talked about the concert’s special guest performers.
“We’re going to be introducing a new vocalist this year, Stacy Russell-Welker. Steve Spires will be rocking the house with “Taking it to Streets,” Schubach said. “There will be a new song by that piano player called “Love Jail”, we’re also going to do a tribute to our former drummer.”
Schubach says the night will be a night filled with an array of music that promises to get your toes tapping.
“We have fun, we do a variety of music from contemporary to traditional swing band, big band music and just try to have fun,” Schubach said. “A little something for everyone.”
This concert is sponsored by the J.W. & M.H Straker Charitable Foundation and is free to the public. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to Secrest Auditorium.
