ZANESVILLE, OH- Today marks the beginning of the highly anticipated Y-Bridge Arts Festival where artists and art enthusiasts gather to celebrate the creativity in the community.

The festival is being held outside of Secrest Auditorium and the Muskingum County Welcome Center.

“We are excited this year about our new location, the Muskingum County Welcome Center has graciously allowed us to use some of their facility which has allowed us to offer indoor space this year in addition to the typical outdoor space that we have, so we feel like we have a good combination of options for artists and visitors,” said Artist Colony of Zanesville Vice President, Mark Goodall.

Attendees can explore over 50 booths displaying paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and other artisan items. Live music and food vendors also help to add to the vibrant atmosphere.

“I just feel like this is a great opportunity for our area to be able to support our artists, to see what they’re doing, to buy some of their work and support them that way as well, there’s just a lot of creativity in our area and we want to show up and support that,” said Goodall.

The Y-Bridge Arts Festival continues into tomorrow. For more information on the festival, you can visit the Y-Bridge Arts Festival Facebook page.
