Touch-A-Truck at Colony Square Mall

ZANESVILLE, OH- The Colony Square Mall held their highly anticipated Annual Touch-A-Truck event this afternoon.
Touch-A-Truck is a yearly event that gives kids the opportunity to interact up close with local first responders, military and community support.
“We take any opportunity we can to come out and get in the public, try to educate them on what we do and services we provide and just interact with the kids,” said Zanesville Fire Department Lieutenant, Josh Porter.
Many children were at the event to learn and engage with police cars, ambulances, fire trucks, semis and more. They also had food trucks, a prize wheel and a childrens party trailer.
“It’s been great, there’s been tons of kids and families out here and they seem to be having a really good time, it’s a good opportunity for the community,” said Porter.
The event organizers would like to give a special thank you to all of the community organizations that came out today and dedicated their Saturday to the Touch-A-Truck event. For more information on the mall and for a list of future events you can visit ColonySquareMall.com.
