Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce Hosts Annual Golf Outing

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce hosted its second golf outing of the year today.

The outing took place at the Zanesville Jaycees Golf Course with tee off starting at noon.

Dana Matz, the President of the Chamber of Commerce, says today was a day for businesses to network and get to know each other a little better.

“The golf outing is a great opportunity for our members, it’s a networking opportunity, so they get to talk to other businesses while they’re here.” Matz said. “Some of the businesses, the folks that are golfing today brought clients, others have rewarded their employees by letting them golf today, so it’s a great opportunity again for them to get out there and network.”

Matz said it was great to see the amount of businesses and chamber members out enjoying the day.

“We’re very fortunate that our community is very supportive of the businesses and those types of things.” Matz said. “So to see 34 teams, golfing on a beautiful Friday, in Muskingum County is wonderful.”
