One of Two Bodies Identified
MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) -The Muskingum County Sheriffs office have publicly identified one of the two bodies found dead in a home just outside of Adamsville. The bodies of 77-year-old Carolyn Eileen Porter and a 64 year-old male, whose name is being withheld pending notification of his family, were found in a residence at 5180 West Road on Tuesday.
House Fire on Crew Ave
MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – A house fire broke out around 6:45 P.M. Wednesday evening at 2420 Crew Avenue. The occupants were not home at the time of the fire. The fire remains under investigation.

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says a Zanesville man plead not guilty to the rape of a child less than 10 years old. 36-year-old Richard Denney Jr. is charged with two counts of rape and one count of gross sexual imposition, both with sexually violent predator specifications.
2014 Deadly Year for Motorists
MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The State Highway Patrol says that 20 people lost their lives in motor vehicle accident crashes in Coshocton and Muskingum Counties in 2014. Lieutenant Matt Boyd of the State Patrol says no one gets into their car expecting to be involved in a crash, but you can increase your odds of being safe by obeying traffic laws, using safety equipment and making sure you drive defensively.
