Taco Bell Adds New Location in Zanesville

ZANESVILLE, OH – A fast food chain is adding another location in Zanesville.

Taco Bell has decided to add a location to the shopping center, Northpointe Center.

Wyatt Woeltje, Principal at Highland Capital, said Taco Bell reached out to them to add this second location after hearing about the new developments at Northpointe.

“After they heard about our development going on and all the new tenants coming in, they wanted to kind of be the one person that took on the north part of town because it’s kind of untapped up there,” Woeltje said. “With all the traffic coming through, they saw an opportunity and they took it. We don’t have any other spaces available like that. They wanted to be the one stop when people are shopping that they can go and get food at.”

Construction on the new Taco Bell location is already under way and Woeltje said it will take around 3 months for its completion.

He also said this new business will be good not only for the customers but other retailers as well.

“In our opinion, any new construction, any new development, any new opening is always beneficial because it drives more people in,” Woeltje said. “It also shows other retailers that “hey, here’s your chance.” Because I’ve heard Chick-Fil-A is looking, other people are looking and I don’t think those people were looking as heavily until new development started happening. We’ve even seen upticks in traction and stuff and we have people that want to get in, I just don’t have space.”

The new Taco Bell will be located next to Academy Sports + Outdoors.
