2024 Morgan County Fair Premier Exhibitor

MCONNELSVILLE, OH- The final day of the 2024 Morgan County Fair means that the Premier Exhibitor was named in Floral Hall.

The Premier Exhibitor is an individual who has entered multiple items into Floral Hall and has been the most successful exhibitor. The 2024 recipient is Anne Powell.

“Pretty much all week we worked really really hard to get all of our tickets together and get our vegetables together, and it is something that my family has been doing for years, and now it’s kind of become a mini competition between my family, and it’s just so much fun to be able to show our produce that we worked so hard all year on, and bring it to the fair and people get to see it and I get to bring all my family members and friends and say, hey there’s mine,” said Powell.

Some of the items Powell entered included produce, canned goods, quilts and a garden arrangement.

“I think it would be great if lots of other people would want to bring stuff to the fair cause it’s always fun to have some healthy competition and it truly is fun to come in here and then the pie auction is great also, it’s just a good experience at the fair that you can be involved in,” said Powell.
