Court of Appeals Upholds Newlon Conviction
Muskingum Co- Judges on the Ohio Fifth District Court of Appeals affirmed the conviction of a Dresden man sentenced to life in prison for rape.
The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office said the judges rejected an appeal by 42-year-old Jason Newlon on Friday.
In September 2023, Newlon was found guilty of 10 counts of gross sexual imposition, 18 counts of rape, and three counts of endangering children. Newlon was sentenced to life in prison.
