ZMC Chamber to Host Three-Part For Business Training Series
ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zanesville-Muskingum Chamber of Commerce is getting ready to host a three part For Business Training Series.
The series is called “Bridging Business, Training and Education for a Future-Ready Workforce”.
Dana Matz, the President of the Chamber of Commerce, said the first part of the series will take place on Monday, Sept. 23rd with a guest speaker from the Governor’s Office.
“We have Michael Kahoe coming in from the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation,” Matz said. “So he’ll talk about Tech Cred, IMAP, and then the Tech Internship for high school students.”
The second part of the training series will take place on Sept, 30th with guest speaker Marketta Thomas from Zane State and the series will wrap up on October 7th with Scott St. Clair from the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation.
Matz says he feels these sessions are important for all area businesses, big or small.
“Our first series was geared more toward the smaller business and helping them grow and be sustainable,” Matz said. “Then this series we’re getting ready to go into is more for more established businesses, but any business, new or small, could take advantage of this series.”
If you are interested in signing up for one or all three sessions in the For Business Training Series, you can head to the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce’s website.
