MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department continues to search for Most Wanted Suspect, 26-year-old Justin Allen Alexander. He’s wanted on a charge of burglary with a fire arm specification and repeat violent offender specification, having a weapon under disability, and theft.
Woman Shot and Killed Identified
CAMBRIDGE, OHIO (WHIZ) – A Cambridge woman who was shot and killed in her home Wednesday has been identified as 29-year-old Amy Wilson. Guernsey and Noble County Sheriff’s deputies located the suspect, whose name is being held until he is formally charged, around 7:30 Thursday morning at his parent’s home.
American Pride Robbery Suspect in Custody
ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – Zanesville Police say they have one man in custody after a robbery involving four lawn mowers at American Pride in Zanesville. Captain Coury says that man will likely be charged Friday morning, his name won’t be released until that time.
ODOT is Prepared for Next Winter Event
MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Ohio Department of Transportation is prepared for the next winter event. ODOT’s Muskingum County Manager Phil Valentine says the county has only used 4,000 tons of salt so far this year, leaving about 50% of their salt stockpiled.
Muskingum County Community Foundation’s Groundhog Day Auction
MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – Coming up this Friday is the Annual Muskingum County Community Foundation’s Groundhog Day Auction. The auction will run from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Friday at OUZ. Tickets are $30 and people can purchase them at the door, or they can pre-register by contacting the foundation.
