Task for asking Citizens to Identify Photos
The Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force investigating a double homicide is looking for information regarding two photos.
The Task Force investigating the Chumney double homicide said the first picture is of a person, who’s not a suspect, just a person they wish to identify. If anyone has knowledge of the individual or access to a vehicle that is similar to the one in the second picture, they’re urged to contact one of the following authorities.

Authorities said that 88-year-old Doyle Chumney and his 79-year-old wife Lillian were discovered in their burned car near Bakersville in Coshocton County. The couple, from Strasburg, was reported missing by family members when they failed to show up to take their son to the airport. The couple’s daughter went to their home in Strasburg and found their vehicle missing and the home ransacked.
