City Tire Pros: Players of the Week

As we enter week 7 of the Ohio High School football season we need to pause to honor players that made an impact in Week 6.
The Players of the Week is brought to you by City Tire Pros. Our Highway 103 player of the week is from the Philo Electrics. Talan Bailey had a great game against the Crooksville Ceramics. He ended the night with 178 yards on the ground and put it in the end zone 3 times to give his team the 37-7 win to move them to 4-2 and extend their winning streak to 4 games.
On Z92, Tri-Valley quarterback Max Lyall tied his own school record set in 2022 with 6 passing touchdowns all in the first half. He finished the game 16-24 for 317 yards in a 66-20 win over the Maysville Panthers. Tri-Valley will play River View in week 7.
Zanesville’s Michael Reese took home player of the week honors on AM1240. Reese had 14 carries and racked up 84 yards, but was not able to bring the Blue Devils a win as they fell to Mount Vernon 37-0.
Our Community Bank Player of the Week was West Muskingum quarterback Jake Anton. Anton was 9-16 for 137 yards with no interceptions and 3 touchdowns in the 42-0 win over Morgan. The Tornadoes get ready to take on Crooksville this Friday.
