Nina “Jackie” Campbell

Nina “Jackie” Jacqueline Campbell, 94, of Senecaville and formerly of Byesville, passed away Tuesday (October 1, 2024) at Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell.

She was born June 30, 1930 in Guernsey County, daughter of the late Alva Touvell and Marie (Britton) Touvell.

A 1948 graduate of Byesville High School, Jackie had worked as the manager of the former Jones Flower Shop for ten years and later worked for eleven years at the Curiosity Shop.

She attended the Church of Christ and was a member of the Guernsey County Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed traveling and reading.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Campbell, who died June 23, 2001. They were married on February 13, 1948. Also deceased is a son, Charles Alan Campbell; a great-grandchild, Keiran; two sisters, Betty and Orletta; and six brothers, Bernard, Junior, Melvin, Gene, Dean, and Ronald.

Jackie is survived by a son, Gary Wayne (& Mona) Campbell of Senecaville; a daughter, Leisann (& Jay) Buckey of Pleasant City; a daughter-in-law, Jan Campbell of Byesville; seven grandchildren, Molly (& Tim) Milner, Tisha Baker, Robyn (& James) Edens, Jeremy (& Jennifer) Campbell, Wendy (& Kevin) White, Brittany (& James) Bundy, and Nicholas Selock; ten great-grandchildren, Ellie, Jacob, Alexander, Zachery, Blake, Logan, Austin, Kowen, Brylee, and Kharli; seven great-great-grandchildren, Shane, Mikey, Tucker, Jackson, Lucille, Dominic, and Roman; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday (October 4, 2024) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Nancy Parsons officiating.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
