Missing Teenager Jessica Reed

ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – According to detective Brad Shawger, the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is looking for missing 18-year-old female, Jessica Reed. She was last seen wearing a red jacket with burgundy sweatpants on February 11th around 3:45 in the afternoon in the area of Schultz Drive in Zanesville.

Two Charged After Police Chase

ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – Brandon Goins and Justin Hague have been charged in connection with a pursuit involving police on Tuesday that resulted in a rollover crash near Zane State College. Sgt. Jon McCoy with ZPD says Goins was charged with having a weapon while under disability and with the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and that Hague was charged with failure to comply with a police officer with risk of harm.

May 5th Primary Set

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Muskingum County Board of Elections has certified 19 of the 20 candidates and all issues to be placed on the May 5th Primary ballot. There will be one contested primary race on the republican side for Zanesville City Law Director and the four issues on the ballot will be the Village of Philo, Village of Dresden, Jackson Township and the Muskingum Community Senior Center.
