Motorcycle Swap Meet And Bike Show
The Zanesville Trail Riders held the 2015 Indoor Motorcycle Swap Meet and Bike Show Today.
Motorcycle lovers headed to the Muskingum County Fair Grounds for the event. With an entry fee of $5 people got access to some of the newest motorcycles, along with parts and accessories. If they looked carefully they may have even found some hidden treasures.
“I think a lot of people come out, they said they’re coming and finding a lot of the parts that they’ve been looking for to complete a project, or something of that sort,” said Zanesville Trail Riders Treasurer, Rae Anne Jasper. “It’s really kinda cool when you see people of different places getting things that they need but then a lot of us that have tables are trying to get rid of some of the things that they don’t need. So they can go buy something else probably.”
Food, beer and other beverages were also for sale at the bike show. All proceeds from the food sales benefit the West Muskingum Athletic Boosters. This year the event was bigger than ever, but Jasper is hoping that it will only grow.
“We have 30 vendors tables, last year we had about 15 we doubled it this year, so we’re very happy about that. Every year we’re hoping it will get bigger and better and we can fill up both sides of the fairgrounds here.”
During the Zanesville Trail Riders next meeting they will discuss the amount of money raised at the door and as a group decide the best way to use it.
