Robert Clark Bond Set

COSHOCTON COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – A 5 million dollar bond was set for Robert Clark during a hearing Tuesday. Clark and another man have been charged with murder in the deaths of Doyle and Lillian Chumney of Strasburg.

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Salvation Army is encouraging people to get off the streets and out of the freezing temperatures. While the shelter only has a few beds left, Karen Walker says that doesn’t mean people can’t still go to the Army for help.

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Sertoma Freedom Week Essay Contest winner was announced Tuesday evening at Trinity Lutheran Church. The overall contest winner this year was West Muskingum Middle Schoole student Hannah Riggle.

Alice Mauk

81-year-old Alice Mauk passed away Monday. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M. and Thursday from 2 until 4 P.M. and 6 until 8 P.M. at the Hillis Combs & Nestor Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday at Secrest Auditorium at 11 A.M. Mauk will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park.
