Preparing For Snow
In fear of being snowed in , Zanesville residents are flocking to their local grocery store to gather supplies.
At Reisbecks, Assistant Store Director, Rodney Price says the cold temperatures have kept some customers away but with the impending snow, shoppers have begun to poor in.
“Yes, in the last hour, hour and a half, I think people are waiting to see how warm it goes so we are seeing a lot of people come in within the last hour.”
Most shoppers are purchasing food, bread, milk, eggs, and of course snow shovels. However, if they were looking for salt to put on their driveway and walkways, it may be too late.
“Snows, we’re almost completely out of all salt. We have shovels and things like that still but the salt we are out of,” said Price.
If you didn’t get salt today Price did inform us that they are expecting a truck with more supplies tonight and shoppers can most likely purchase salt from Reisbecks tomorrow.
