Licking County Fatal Accident

Licking County- The Licking County Sheriff’s Office said a motorcyclist was killed in an accident Wednesday afternoon.

It took place around 1pm at the intersection of  Columbus Road and Silver Street near Granville. Authorities said the accident involved a motorcycle and a box truck.

Deputies report that the motorcyclist, 60-year-old Jeffrey Hurl from Pataskala was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said he was wearing a helmet and the accident remains under investigation.
