W. Virginia Man Pleads Guilty in Muskingum Co.

A West Virginia man under investigation for an out-of-state murder confessed to firearm and drug charges in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.
The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office said 33-year-old William Ludwick, of West Virginia, appeared before Common Pleas Judge Gerald Anderson and plead guilty to having a weapon under disability, aggravated drug possession and operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs.
Ludwick has multiple prior drug-related offenses in two other states. He is also under investigation for murder in West Virginia. Law enforcement believes the firearms found in his car were used in that murder.
Ludwick will be sentenced at a later date.
