Festival of Trees Deadline Extended

ZANESVILLE, OH – The deadline to enter the 32nd annual Festival of Trees has been extended!

If you’re looking for a chance to showcase your creativity and promote your business, it’s not too late to participate. The new deadline to submit your entry is Tuesday, November 26th, at noon.

Dana Matz, ZM Chamber of Commerce President, wants to encourage those who are interested to sign up.

“The Festival of Trees auction is quickly approaching; we wanted to let everybody know that we are extending the deadline to this coming Tuesday. You can register online by visiting our website, ZMChamber.com/events and letting us know what your entry is and what your incentives are.”

In addition to trees, there are three other categories for submissions: wreaths, arts/crafts, and an “other” category, which can include stockings, outdoor decorations, and tabletop decorations. “We’ve already received some entries from people who are submitting photographs,” Matz added. So, there are many opportunities to get involved.

Matz would also like to extend his gratitude to those who support this tradition every year along with the local businesses that continue to enter. This auction will be live on WHIZ AM & FM radio, WHIZnews.com and ZMChamber.com. Entries may be delivered on Tuesday, November 26th, between 9 AM and 5 PM, and again on Wednesday, November 27th, from 9 AM to noon.

The final drop-off date will be Monday, December 2nd, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
