Meet Bubbie! This Week’s Lovable Dog of the Week

ZANESVILLE, OH – All this dog of the week wants for Christmas is his forever family.

Meet Bubbie! Bubbie was surrendered to the K-9 Adoption Center back in May and has been searching for his perfect family ever since.

Doug McQuaid, a Volunteer at the Adoption Center, said that Bubbie was a fan favorite at their recent Storybook Christmas event.

“[He] was at our Christmas event, got to be around everybody and enjoyed being around some of the other dogs that were there,” McQuaid said. “People, kids, just did a fabulous job, actually was the show of the show.”

Bubbie is 2 years-old, fully vetted, and would do well in an active home that could take him on a walk, or two, a day.

McQuaid said if you’ve been looking to adopt, now is the perfect time.

He said from now until the end of the month the adoption fee is only $75 and he talked about another fundraising opportunity coming up this weekend.

“We got somethings going on also this Saturday,” McQuaid said. “Right here, under the shelter, we will be selling t-shirts from 11 to 2 and even if you want to you can just drive up. We’ll actually go out and wait on you. So we’d love to see everybody and actually just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, it’s been a very successful year.”
