Myron Orr

Myron F. Orr, 87, of Crooksville, passed away peacefully at his residence on December 16, 2024, under the care of Genesis Hospice. Born on March 12, 1937, in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late Fred R. and Leona (Theisen) Orr, Myron was a man who lived his life with integrity, passion, and a deep commitment to his loved ones and community. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Lee) Orr, with whom he shared a beautiful and enduring love story. His legacy continues through his adored granddaughter and caregiver, Erica (Chris) Crawford, his three great-grandchildren, and two precious great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to his life. In his working years, he was a respected inspector for United Technologies, where he eventually retired from. Beyond his work, Myron was deeply involved in his community. He was a proud Past Master Mason of Crooksville Peerless Lodge 591 F & AM, along with close friend Earl Saunders, and a member of the Scottish Rite of Cambridge. His Masonic brothers will fondly remember his dedication to the principles of Freemasonry and his contributions to the lodge. A man of faith, Myron was a Christian and a member of New Hope Methodist Church, attending services and church events whenever he was able. His faith was a guiding force in his life, providing him with strength and comfort throughout his years. Calling hours will be held from 1pm – 3pm Monday, December 23, 2024, at Ross-Frash Funeral Home, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville. Cremation will follow and burial in Crooksville Cemetery next to his beloved wife, Barbara will take place at the family’s convenience.
