Ruth Hartman

Ruth Hartman, 95, of Zanesville, passed away at 10:36 a.m. Friday December 20, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 19, 1929 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Paul and Mae Bailey. She is survived by her five children: Son Kelly (Rhea) Hartman and their family Jennifer (Andy Darr) Ross, Drew, Jack, Maeleigh, Cooper; Josh (Tori) Hartman, Weston, Landon, Peyton; Tabe (Chris) Paxson, Bryce; son Kevin (Holly) Hartman; daughter Kristi Hartman Swingle and her family Andrea (Slade) Searls, Rhylee Searls (Austin), Cade Searls, Sara Searls; Amanda Campbell, Gracie Campbell, Lillian Campbell, Mason Campbell; Alisha (Andy) Keck, Caden Keck, Coleson Keck, Cashton Keck; son Kerry (Cindy) Hartman and their family Brandon (Kaitlin) Hartman, Karalynn, Kenson; Brenna (Kyle) Brookover, Zander, Lyla, Addy; Bailey Hartman, Layla, Lennon, Leyton; Brant (Liz) Hartman; son Kacey (Elizabeth) Hartman and their family Madison (Nate) Torski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Hartman and a grandson Christopher Hartman. Ruth was a member of Rolling Plains Church, she loved to camp and cook, and enjoyed her time as an Ohio Reads Aid at Maysville Local Schools. Friends may call from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday December 22, 2024 with a service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Rolling Plains Church 3350 Moxahala Park Road, Zanesville with Pastor John Alice officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
