Jon Wood

Jon Lee Wood, 58, of Zanesville, passed away December 13, 2024. He was born March 28, 1966, the son of Lloyd Lee Wood and Doris J. (Frame) Adolph.

Jon was a 1984 graduate of Maysville High School and the Mechanics Program of the Vocational School. He was a mechanic for Tansky’s and Morris & Snider. He was also a weaver with Longaberger Baskets, and most recently worked along with his father in a small business repairing lawn mowers.

In addition to his father, Jon is survived by his siblings, Joanie (Dale) Hamilton; half-sister, Margie (Matt) Arno and a step-sister, Lynn Alexander; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; his former wife, Crystal, and a special canine companion, Sapphire, which has now been placed with a loving friend.

In addition to his mother, Jon was preceded in death by two special pet companions, Bailey and Cooper.
