Judith “Judi” Frankanne Lunn Denny, 81 of Zanesville died 7:20 AM Friday December 27th at the Cedar Hil Care Center following a short illness.
She was born July 28, 1943 in Zanesville, Ohio the daughter of Brad Lunn and Virginia Harper Lunn.
Judi attended Sonora United Methodist Church and worked at Elder Beerman, liked to cook, sew & quilt, and can vegetables from her garden. She also made her “Denny’s Homemade” mustard, sauerkraut and her famous pumpkin rolls.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Kenneth “Pete” Edgar Denny; daughter, Rhonda (Mark) Hayes, son Eric (Kristi) Denny; grandsons, Hayden (Tory) Hayes, Harrison Hayes, Koy Denny, Kale Denny; sisters, Karen Ferry and Mollye Kennedy, also numerous nieces and nephews. Judi was preceded in death by her parents; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley Christman, Janet (Joe) Taylor, Peggy (Larry) Houston, Brother Frank (Maxine) Lunn and a nephew, Donnie Christman.
No public visitation or funeral service will be observed at this time. A private burial will take place later at the St. Paul Cemetery, Sonora.
The family would like to thank Cedar Care & Shriver’s Hospice staff for the loving care they provided for their loved one.
