James Beisser
James Freisinger Beisser 81, of Zanesville passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Friday December 27, 2024.
He was born on December 31, 1942 in Zanesville to the late Clyde and Bernadetta Freisinger Beisser. He retired from the mold shop at Owens-Illinois. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Norwich and enjoyed shooting and woodworking. Jim served our country and protected our freedom in The United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marilyn Hughes Beisser of Zanesville; a son, Todd (Jo) Beisser of Norwich; a sister, Debbie Williams of San Tan Valley, AZ; a granddaughter, Bailey Beisser of Akron; several nieces and nephews, and his Special Buddy “Mollie”, the beloved family dog.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Thompson.
The family wishes to thank Genesis Palliative Care and Genesis Hospice for providing such amazing care to Jim at the end of his life.
