Edward Lambert

Edward Lee “Hoot” Lambert, born February 3, 1937, to the late John Sherman Lambert and Jelletta Wood Lambert Haskins, died on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Adams Lane Care Center. He was a 1955 graduate of Roseville High School.
He was a member of the Roseville Masonic Lodge #566, which joined with Doric Lodge #172 F&AM of Deavertown, Amrou Grotto, Shriners and Roseville American Legion. He was also a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Roseville. He was known for passing out butterscotch candy. He worked for Columbia Cement and The Ferro Corporation. He served his country and protected our freedom in the United States Army, where he served as a Unit Policeman in Germany from 1960 to 1966.
Surviving are two sons: Jeffrey (Holli) Lambert and Timothy Lambert; grandchildren: Ashlee (Joel) Ault and John Evans Jr.; great grandchildren: Slade Ault and Rilynne Ault; and special friends Steve Francis and Bill Musser.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Karen Bates Lambert; a daughter Kathy Lambert; and a brother Jack Lambert.

Calling hours will be held from 11AM to 1PM, Thursday, January 2, 2025, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The Masonic service will begin at 1PM and the funeral will follow in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Wes Kidwell officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army and the Roseville American Legion.
