Nina Cheryl (Greene) Chiesa Gregg, 78, of Cambridge, passed away Sunday (December 29, 2024) at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.

She was born April 30, 1946 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Brooks Greene and Jane Ann (Daugherty) Greene. A graduate of Cambridge High School, Nina was employed with the former Cambridge Developmental Center for ten years as a therapeutic program worker, retiring in 2004. She had also worked for the Rolling Hills Local School District in the high school’s cafeteria for many years.

Nina was a member of the Stop 9 Church of Christ. She was in charge of the “Silent” Sisters/Brothers program at the church for ten years. She was also active in the church’s card ministry program.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul O. Chiesa Sr.; her second husband, Clyde Robert “Bob” Gregg; her oldest son, Paul O. Chiesa II; and three sisters, Norma, Viola, and Delores.

Nina is survived by her son, Jeff Chiesa; three daughters, Natasha (& Joe) Repasky, Rachel (& Tommy) Strasser, and Diana (& Alan) Young; four sisters, Dorothy Powell, Louise Smith, Judi Hanes, and Sandi Barnes; eight grandchildren, Lisa Lindsey, Ronnie Larrick, Paul Chiesa III, Jett Chiesa, Alyson Repasky, Gregg (& Jess) Strasser, Alexx Strasser, and Maezie Lanning; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Friday (January 3, 2025) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Evan. Woody Biggs officiating.

Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
