$500,000 Mental Health Grant For Six County Inc.

State Senator Balderson announced Monday that a 500-thousand dollar grant is headed to Muskingum County. It will be used for upgrades to Six County Incorporated in Zanesville. Balderson says the money will be used for upgrades to eight existing buildings and the construction of six new units to provide permanent supportive housing and required mental health services in this area. Balderson says this investment will help improve the quality of care for Muskingum County residents with mental health issues. He says the goal is to provide a safe living environment that allows residents to get the treatment they need.
