LICKING COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Licking County Crime Stoppers are offering up to a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the misuse of credit and debit cards.The skimmed numbers were used to purchase over $2,200 dollars in items at various retail stores and restaurants in Ohio and Kentucky. Anyone with information is urged to call the Licking County Crime Stoppers.

Zanesville Man Appears in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court

ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – The trial of a Zanesville man, 35-year-old Chad Morrsion appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. Morrsion is facing multiple charges including a complicity of aggravated murder charge in the death of Isaac Thomas in January of 2014 at 468 Spangler Drive.

Crooksville Drug Bust

PERRY COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Perry County Sheriffs Office executed a drug bust at 315 Pine Street in Crooksville on Tuesday. One male in his late forties to early fifties was detained with the possibility of being charged with manufacturing and illegal possession.

Proposed 75 MPH Speed Limit

COLUMBUS, OHIO (AP) – The State Senate is set to vote today on a $7 billion, 2-year transportation budget, after a state legislative panel put the brakes on a proposal to boost the speed limit to 75 mph on rural interstate highways and the Ohio turnpike. The House plans to vote tomorrow.
