Richard “Dick” Snider

Richard “Dick” Joseph Snider, 78, of Zanesville went to be with his Lord and savior at 8:25 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Genesis Hospital.
He was born on Tuesday, September 17, 1946, in Somerset, Ohio the son of the late Lawrence James Snider and Thelma Belle Bigham Snider.
Richard was a graduate of Sheridan High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring after more than 26 years of service. Richard was a member of the Somerset American Legion and a lifetime member of the VFW. He also was active at The Refuge Church.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Ann Slack Snider; three children, Lela (Chuck) Carter, Richard (Cheryl) Snider and Stephanie Snider; two brothers, Ron Snider and Mike Snider; a sister, Juanita Snider; three stepchildren, Mark Morris, Larry Morris and Michelle Warden; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Snider; and two brothers, Terry Snider and Gene Snider.
Per Richard’s wishes no services will be held at this time.
