Tanya Stires

Tanya Gwen Stires, 55, of Zanesville Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Tanya was born on June 9, 1969, to Raymond and Beverly Lucich, who both preceded her in death.

Tanya leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Joe Stires; son, Ralston Zimmerman; brothers, Robert “Bobby” (Heather) Lucich and Raymond “Sonny” Jr.; many nieces and nephews as well as several other friends and family.

Tanya liked doing crafts, playing the piano and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting and playing games. Tanya would also enjoy having a campfire and hanging out with her family. She always enjoyed going camping, fishing and swimming as well as gardening when she was able. Tanya enjoyed cooking and getting her family together. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

You may call on the family on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 10 am until 11 am with funeral services starting at 11 am. Everything will be held at Union Tabernacle Church, 2433 Hartford Ave, Zanesville Ohio 43701 with pastor Terry Newman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
